AND i missed a girl getting hit by a model T car! she's ok, but i missed all the drama!
wednesday night was the food service staff picnic at Ford Field. I found it amusing that they served us our own food from work...hot dogs, boxed potato salad and coleslaw... I was stoked when we actually DID have a potato sack race!! Karen (our boss) was trying to get us to race and i was all for it but others were like uhhh...i don't know.. and i'm like "karen, you're their boss, you can make em do whatever u want!" so she made us race. and i totally kicked some potato sack racing butt! all that practice with the Brady Bunch finally paid off. And i won a Budwiser teeshirt in a raffle-a Bud shirt from a Work picnic...how ironic. I also played some SPOONS and some kickball, some catch...fun stuff. Once the downpour started, i decided to leave, but i was there for a good 3 hours and it was pretty fun cuz most my friends from work were there.
Later i watched the movie Hide and Seek- it was good, pretty eerie and full of twists.
Thursday after work i went to Ivory room with marissa cuz it was ladies night and we shot some pool. Then we ordered some Hungry Howie's and watched more Dawson's Creek-it's getting good!
Today at work: i was bussing and i felt like i was the go-to girl. every customer seemed to be asking me questions
I spilt a huge glass of water all over and had to get out the mop-again
There were 2 dead baby birds on the patio where people were walking and i called security to take care of it but they never showed so i ran outta the restaurant and hollered at a groundscew boy that was walking around with a broom and dust pan and was like yeahh...we need ur assistance.
I also got to talk to former leader, Meghan patterson, today who is now working in the deli. it was nice see her again, TOH missed her.
I wanna see Wedding Crashers this weekend, and i think monday night-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the IMAX!!
I work 11-9 tomorrow. i'm off sunday and sunday night it the Perogi party with the crew and families just like in the good ol' pre-college days...cept we've never had a perogi party before...odd.
